  8.   "GSAddOns" Directory          \
  9.   --------------------
  10.   The GSAddOns directory can be placed anywhere on your Hard Drive.
  11.   Its sole purpose in life is to house all the future language files,
  12.   patches and expansion files for Genetic Species CDRom.
  13.  
  14.   "Engine" Script & Icon
  15.   ----------------------
  16.   The "Engine" Script will automatically assign EXTERNAL to the
  17.   location of your "GSAddOns" directory, which allows the game to use all
  18.   existing files in this directory in preference to those on the CDRom.
  19.  
  20.   From now on just make sure that the Genetic Species CDRom is in your
  21.   drive before using this "Engine" icon to run the game.

  23.   CD Audio Music Initialisation
  24.   -----------------------------
  25.   You only need to do this once, edit the "Engine" Script so that the
  26.   last line reflects your own CD device driver and CD unit number.
  27.   
  28.   For example if you use the "squirrelSCSI.device" to mount your CD and
  29.   your CD drive is unit number "1", then the last line in the script
  30.   should read:
  31.                  GeneticSpecies.exe SquirrelSCSI.device 1
  32.  
  33.   In the GS options screen make sure that "CD Music" and "Multitask"
  34.   are both switched on.

  36.   "Genetics" Script & Icon
  37.   ------------------------
  38.   The "Genetics" Script is identical to the "Engine" Script but it
  39.   triggers the Intro Amimation and Credit Sequences first.

  43.   NOTE: Don't forget to download the latest GSAddOn_Engine.lha to place
  44.         in your new "GSAddOns" directory!
